iJukeBox is a high performance, network-attached data archive library
that can also function like a CD/DVD virtual jukebox..
It provides network access to CD and DVD files. Users can access
files much more quickly than with traditional CD/DVD jukeboxes.
Files are accessed the same way as accessing files on a remote CD
or DVD volume. Data is read-only, and the file structure is identical
to a CD or DVD.
|
The difference between iJukeBox and a traditional CD/DVD jukebox
is speed at which files are accessed. Files are accessed and read
at hard disk speeds, instead of CD/DVD-ROM speeds, and no time required
for robotic disc loading/ unloading and spin-up.
Multiple users can access a single volume simultaneously, with
little impact on performance.

iJukeBox can be upgraded to iStudio or DVD-Q Server if CD/DVD
recording capabilites need to be added.
