SpanDisc disc spanning software lets you record much more data than could fit on a single DVD for archival or distribution. SpanDisc can split individual files and/or datasets that are up to 64 GB across multiple discs. More importantly, the discs that SpanDisc creates are portable, allowing you to read the discs back from most platforms.

With SpanDisc technology, there is no need to manually break up large datasets, as SpanDisc automatically splits files and datasets as needed. Files can be recorded on either CD or DVD media, (depending on customer requirements). Users set a single parameter to establish the maximum file size for each disc.

SpanDisc opens up new applications for CD/DVD recording, including system backup, database snapshots, and disaster recovery.
