Verification on Demand (VoD) allow users to validate the integrity of the files on CD or DVD. Validation can be performed at any time, from the moment the disc is recorded to many years afterward.

VoD provides a high degree of confidence in the integrity of the files and the media itself. The validation process embeds a table on the disc; the table lists all files that are recorded on the disc as well as a corresponding checksum.
